Start with the questions customers already ask: best provider near me, emergency help, open today, takes insurance, natural-looking results, family-owned, licensed, or best for a specific condition. Run those prompts across AI answer surfaces and record who appears.
The goal is to find the gap between buyer intent and official proof. If an AI answer names a competitor because their reviews, services, or location details are easier to verify, that is the roadmap.
Make each money page answer a complete question
A service page should not be a thin keyword page. It should answer who the service is for, what happens, where it is offered, how booking works, what proof supports trust, and what related questions customers ask before calling.
For local categories, the best pages combine service depth with local detail. A med spa Botox page, a pediatric dental emergency page, or a plumbing water heater page should be specific enough for both people and AI systems to use.
Keep facts consistent everywhere
AEO breaks when official pages, Google Business Profile, directories, review platforms, and citations disagree. Name, address, phone, categories, hours, practitioner names, and service descriptions need to reinforce one another.
Structured data helps, but it cannot rescue conflicting source material. The strongest signal is consistency across the official site and the places answer engines already cite.
